Teo Halm
Teo Halm, an emerging talent in the entertainment industry, was honored with the Best Actor award at the 9th Annual Fanlala PICK Awards in 2014, as recognized by a youthful audience for his role in the science fiction film *Earth to Echo*. His performance garnered attention from acclaimed filmmaker James Franco, who cast Halm to portray the young Charles Bukowski's best friend in the anticipated biopic *Bukowski*, scheduled for release in 2015. Additionally, Halm took on a prominent role as a rebellious skater in Franco's produced film *Memoria*, adapted from the stories in Franco's book *Palo Alto Stories*.
Born in Los Angeles and standing at 6 feet (1.83 m), Teo’s acting journey began at the tender age of nine when he played Rolf in a rendition of *The Sound of Music*, captivating audiences with his rendition of "Sixteen Going on Seventeen". A photograph shared on newfaces.com by his father led to his casting as a Neanderthal boy in PBS's *NOVA* and as Will Campbell, a spokesperson for UCLA in a fundraising web campaign. His talent was further recognized when a future manager spotted him demonstrating his acting skills on the soccer field.
By 12, Halm starred in the award-winning short film *Waltham Vanguard*, which earned a CINE Golden Eagle. In 2013, he landed the significant role of Cory and Topanga's son in the Disney Channel's *Girl Meets World*. Beyond acting, Teo is a dedicated soccer player, enjoys surfing along the California and Mexican coasts, and showcases his creativity by producing short videos online.
