Türkü Turan, born in Bodrum, Mugla, has made a notable mark in Turkish cinema and television. She pursued her education in sociology at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts, which laid the foundation for her artistic career. Turan's acting journey began with her role as Pinar in the 2007 TV series "Annem" (translated as "My Mother"). Her talent was soon recognized by acclaimed director Reha Erdem, leading her to her first significant film role in "Kosmos" (2009), where she portrayed the character Neptune. This performance earned her nominations for several prestigious awards, including the Yesilcam and Siyad Awards.
In 2010, she expanded her television repertoire with appearances in series such as "Cakil Taslari" and "Gonul Ferman Dinlemiyor."
