Earl Simmons, known to the world as DMX, was born on December 18, 1970, and tragically passed away on April 9, 2021, at the age of 50. His stage name is a nod to the Oberheim DMX drum machine, a tool he utilized to create his own beats during the 1980s.

Beyond music, he made significant contributions to film, appearing in notable movies such as Belly, Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, Cradle 2 The Grave, and Last Hour.
