Zhang Lanxin
Zhang Lanxin is a prominent Chinese actress recognized for her captivating performance as Bonnie in the action-packed film CZ12. Born and raised in Beijing, she pursued her education at Beijing Sport University and was an accomplished athlete, competing as a member of the China National Taekwondo Team. In 2004, she clinched the championship title in the National Taekwondo Championships in the 55-kilogram division.
Zhang made her cinematic debut in 2012 with CZ12, an action film co-produced, written, directed by, and featuring the legendary Jackie Chan. Her remarkable portrayal earned her the Best New Performer award at the 9th Huading Awards, alongside nominations for the Best New Performer at both the Beijing College Student Film Festival and the 32nd Hong Kong Film Awards. In the same year, she was also honored with the Most Potential Movie Actress Award at the LeTV Awards and the Best New Performer Award at the MSN Fashion Party Awards.
Following her breakout role, she appeared in Police Story 2013, another collaboration with Jackie Chan, in which she showcased her talent in a gripping action crime narrative. In 2014, Zhang expanded her repertoire by starring in the romantic comedy Who Moved My Dream, alongside actors Leon Jay Williams and Viona Wang Xi-Yao, further solidifying her status in the film industry.
