Marilyn Ghigliotti

Marilyn Ghigliotti, born to Jeronimo and Luisa Ghigliotti in New York, is a proud member of a Puerto Rican family who grew up alongside her siblings, Evelyn and Leonardo. Raised in the vibrant environments of Long Island and New Jersey, Marilyn developed a spirited and tenacious personality, adept at navigating the diverse cultural landscapes around her.

Marilyn's journey into acting began later in life, sparked by a desire to confront personal challenges. She enrolled at the Actors Training Institute in Red Bank, New Jersey, where she studied under John Eyd, a distinguished member of New York's Actors Studio. Over two years, she honed her craft and gained the confidence to dive into the community theater scene in Southern New Jersey, where she captivated audiences in classic productions. This transformative experience on stage ignited her passion for acting, particularly when she found herself truly heard for the first time, an emotional shift for a middle child.

It was during this theater circuit that she met Brian O'Halloran, and together they auditioned for and secured roles in Kevin Smith's cult classic, Clerks. Since relocating to Los Angeles, Marilyn has diversified her talents, working as a freelance hair and makeup artist while also engaging in various roles within the filmmaking industry, both in front of and behind the camera, to deepen her understanding of the artistry involved in filmmaking.
