Rana Daggubati

Rana Daggubati is a prominent Indian actor, producer, visual effects coordinator, and photographer, celebrated for his contributions to Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema.

In his role as a visual effects producer, Rana earned the prestigious State Nandi Award for Best Special Effects in 2006 for his work on the Telugu film Sainikudu, featuring Mahesh Babu. That same year, he also garnered the National Film Award for his co-production of the film Bommalata – A Bellyful of Dreams. Rana made his film acting debut in 2010 with the hit Telugu movie Leader, which earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South. His performance in the 2012 crime thriller Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum attracted significant critical praise.

However, Rana’s breakout role came in 2015 when he portrayed the primary antagonist in Baahubali: The Beginning, a film that achieved record-breaking box office success, marking the highest opening for any Indian film at the time. His diverse talents and remarkable performances have established him as a noteworthy figure in the Indian film industry.
