Au-Yeung Jin

Au-Yeung Jin, who is professionally recognized as MC Jin, was born on June 4, 1982. He is an American artist specializing in rap and songwriting, and he also has a background in acting, with his heritage rooted in Hakka culture. Notably, he holds the distinction of being the first Asian American rapper to secure a contract with a major record label in the United States. Originally from Miami, Florida, Jin spent part of his life in New York City and later relocated to Hong Kong, where he resided for several years. In the summer of 2012, he made his way back to New York City, furthering his artistic journey in the vibrant cultural landscape of the city.
