His journey took a turn when he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1981, where he served with distinction until his discharge in 1998. During his military career, he specialized as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, gaining a wealth of life experiences that would later inform his artistic endeavors.

Since 2003, Miller has participated in over 150 productions across various mediums, including theater, feature films, television, and web series. His diverse skill set extends beyond acting; he is an accomplished stunt performer, fight choreographer, and technical advisor, leveraging his martial arts training and military background to enhance productions.
