Danny Gokey

Daniel Jay Gokey, known professionally as Danny Gokey, is a prominent American vocalist and former music director at a church. He gained nationwide recognition as a third-place finalist on the eighth season of the popular television competition, American Idol, which aired in 2009.

Following his stint on American Idol, Gokey launched a successful music career, focusing on contemporary Christian music and country genres.
