Ada Lundver (February 9, 1942 – October 6, 2011) was a celebrated Estonian actress and singer, renowned for her contributions to film, with nearly thirty credits to her name. Born in Käina Parish, on the island of Hiiumaa, Ada spent her childhood summers with her grandmother, which fostered a deep connection to her roots.

In 1960, while working in a shoe factory in Tallinn, her life took a dramatic turn when she was selected from a pool of nearly 250 candidates to join the State Philharmonic of the Estonian SSR the following year. She honed her skills through a pop singing course, quickly rising to prominence alongside fellow actress Eve Kivi, becoming two of the most recognized figures in Estonian cinema.

Throughout the 1960s, Lundver featured in several films and, in 1969, signed a contract to appear in more, earning the moniker "German slut in Russian movies." In 1971, she married fellow actor Mikk Mikiver, which coincided with a prolific period in her career, resulting in notable films such as "Cold Land," "What Happened to Andres Lapeteus," and "Noon Barge." After a successful but tumultuous marriage that ended in 1983, Lundver continued to leave an indelible mark on the Estonian film landscape until her passing in 2011.
