Benjamin Ferencz

Benjamin Berell Ferencz (March 11, 1920 – April 7, 2023) was a prominent American attorney renowned for his pivotal role in the prosecution of Nazi war criminals following World War II. As the chief prosecutor for the United States Army at the Einsatzgruppen Trial—one of the twelve Subsequent Nuremberg Trials held in Nuremberg, Germany—Ferencz played a crucial part in bringing justice to those responsible for heinous war crimes.
