Mario Kassar

Mario F. Kassar, born on October 10, 1951, is a prominent Lebanese-American film producer and industry executive, renowned for his significant contributions to the cinema landscape. Kassar gained fame as a key producer behind iconic films, particularly the initial three installments of the Rambo franchise and the groundbreaking Terminator 2: Judgment Day. His impressive portfolio also includes cult classics such as Total Recall, The Doors, and Basic Instinct, alongside notable titles like Jacob's Ladder, Rambling Rose, Universal Soldier, and Chaplin.

In 1976, Kassar co-founded Carolco Pictures with Andrew G. Vajna, a production company that became synonymous with high-budget action and dramatic films throughout the late 20th century.
