Kaitlyn Maher
Kaitlyn Ashley Maher, born on January 10, 2004, in Michigan and raised in Ashburn, Virginia, is a talented American child singer and actress. She gained national recognition in 2008 when she became one of the top ten finalists on the third season of the popular talent competition, America's Got Talent, making history as the youngest contestant to reach that stage.
Following her remarkable stint on the show, Kaitlyn showcased her abilities in several high-profile events, including a performance at The Great Kids Expo in October 2008 and a live broadcast of the National Christmas Tree lighting ceremony on December 4, 2008, attended by then-President George W. Bush and an audience of over 7,000. She also participated in the Cherry Blossom Festival in April 2009 and was the opening act at a benefit for The Addi and Cassi Hempel Fund in October 2009.
In late 2009, Kaitlyn signed a recording contract with Indie Extreme and released her debut album, You Were Meant To Be, on December 1, 2009. She also starred in a Harris Teeter commercial during the holiday season of 2008. As the first Child Ambassador for Compassion International, she traveled to El Salvador, where she met her sponsored child and filmed a music video for her signature song.
In addition to her singing career, Kaitlyn lent her voice to the character Tiny in Disney's direct-to-video film Santa Buddies, released on November 24, 2009, and later played the orphan Quinn in The Search for Santa Paws, which premiered on November 23, 2010.
