Suda Chuenban
Suda Chuenban is a prominent Thai singer renowned for her ability to perform both Thai and international music. With a career spanning several decades, she has made significant contributions to the entertainment industry, captivating audiences across Thailand and on the global stage. Her versatile performances have graced television and film, showcasing her remarkable talent.
One of her notable works includes the album "Khun Lam Khong," where she collaborated with Mom Rajawongse Thanatsrisawasdiwat, featuring the title song that became a staple in Thai entertainment. Suda's artistic journey began at a young age; she gained recognition for her dancing skills after participating in a Thai dance competition on the program “Sentinel on Radio TAT,” hosted by Sa-Piam Phongsarn in the mid-1950s. This opportunity led to her performing traditional dance dramas on Channel 4, showcasing her talents to a wider audience.
Suda graduated from Satirat Bamrung School in 1962 and later became a prominent member of the Red Chang Band, performing alongside Phong Mookda in Thailand's film industry. She is also known for her family legacy in music; her daughter, Naphatsorn Buranasiri, has followed in her footsteps as a singer and DJ, and her granddaughter, Patcharida Wattana, has also made her mark as a singer.
