Anya Beyersdorf is an accomplished Australian actress who has successfully transitioned into writing and directing. Born in Armidale, New South Wales, she has made significant strides in the film industry since her debut. In 2014, her talent was recognized with the prestigious AWGIE Award for the Monte Miller Award, awarded for her outstanding screenplay, "Paradise," at the Australian Writer's Guild Awards.

Beyersdorf’s commitment to her craft led her to Berlin, where she honed her skills in acting and directing. She earned the Marten Bequest Prize for Acting for the 2008/2009 period and collaborated with renowned Bulgarian director Dimiter Gotscheff on the production of "The Powder Keg" at Der Haus der Berliner Festspiele.
