Dave Filoni
David Filoni, born on June 7, 1974, is a prominent American director, producer, and screenwriter known for his significant contributions to the Star Wars franchise. Initially gaining recognition for his work on the acclaimed animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender, Filoni was later recruited by George Lucas to helm the direction of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In this role, he not only directed several episodes but also penned many scripts and contributed to the film adaptation of the series.
Filoni's creative prowess continued with the creation of Star Wars Rebels, where he served as supervising director, executive producer, and writer, solidifying his role as a key figure in expanding the Star Wars universe. Currently, he is the creator, executive producer, and sole writer of the live-action miniseries Ahsoka, showcasing his storytelling talents in new formats.
