Jocelyn Bioh is a talented Ghanaian-American playwright, writer, and actor, acclaimed for her contributions to theater. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Theater from The Ohio State University, followed by a Master’s degree in Playwriting from Columbia University. Bioh has made her mark on Broadway, notably through her involvement in the production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime.

Her stage performances extend beyond Broadway, featuring in regional and Off-Broadway productions such as An Octoroon, Bootycandy, and For Colored Girls. An accomplished playwright, Bioh has penned numerous original works that have graced national and collegiate stages. Among her most recognized plays are Nollywood Dreams and School Girls; Or, the African Mean Girls Play, both of which showcase her unique voice and perspective.
