Rhian Rees

Rhian Rees hails from Hampshire, England, where she was raised by parents involved in fish farming. With a rich heritage that encompasses Welsh, English, and Dutch roots, Rhian has carved a niche for herself in the entertainment industry. She is predominantly recognized for her portrayal of Dana Haines, a British journalist, in the acclaimed Blumhouse film Halloween, as well as her role in Zack Snyder's ambitious project, Rebel Moon.

Her academic journey began at the University of Surrey, where she earned a BA in Playwriting. This foundation paved the way for her participation in the prestigious Young Writers Programme at the Royal Court Theatre, allowing her to hone her craft further. Rhian's passion for performance led her to delve into physical theatre, studying under renowned director Simon McBurney at Complicité in London. Additionally, she expanded her expertise at The Lee Strasberg Film & Theatre School in New York, where she immersed herself in the techniques of acting.
