Scottie Thompson, born Susan Scott Thompson on November 9, 1981, is a talented American actress known for her work across film, television, and theater. Standing at 5 feet 7 inches tall, she hails from Richmond, Virginia, where her passion for the performing arts began early on. Thompson attended the Collegiate School and immersed herself in dance, mastering ballet, jazz, and modern styles. Her dedication led her to perform with the Richmond Ballet for several years.
After high school, she took a break to further her dance career before enrolling at Harvard University. There, she studied Performance Studies and Literature, engaging actively with the Harvard Ballet Company and participating in various theatrical productions. In 2003, she served as the publicity manager for the Hasty Pudding Theatricals and contributed her editorial skills to the travel book "Let's Go: Vietnam."
Thompson graduated in 2005 with a degree focused on French and Postcolonial literature, which laid a foundation for her diverse artistic pursuits.
