Troy Castaneda's journey began in the realm of competitive gymnastics, where he dedicated 12 years to honing his skills. However, a hamstring injury sustained during a competition marked the end of his gymnastics career. Undeterred, Troy found a new passion in motorsport, making his debut in kart racing. His talent quickly shone through, earning him recognition as one of the world's elite drivers, leading to two notable appearances at the World Championships representing the United States.
At the age of 17, he took a significant step in his career by relocating to Italy to pursue racing in formula cars on the European circuit. Upon returning to the U.S., Troy expanded his racing repertoire, competing in various categories, including Indy Lights, Prototypes, and Sports Cars.
