Francis Lovehall
Francis Lovehall is a talented Jamaican actor now residing in London. Born and raised in Jamaica, he honed his craft at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), from which he graduated in 2019. Lovehall gained significant recognition in 2020 for his role as Reggie in Steve McQueen's acclaimed film "Lovers Rock," a part of the Small Axe anthology series that showcased stories from the British-Jamaican community.
In 2022, he demonstrated his versatility on stage with his performance in "Red Pitch," a play written by Tyrell Williams, which was showcased at the Bush Theatre. His remarkable work in this production earned him a nomination in the Emerging Talent category at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards in October 2022.
Continuing to build on his burgeoning career, Lovehall took on the role of Laurent in the musical television series "Champion," created by Candice Carty-Williams, which premiered on BBC One in June 2023. Additionally, he was cast in March 2023 for the upcoming drama series "A Thousand Blows," penned by Steven Knight, set in the 1880s.
