Chuck Vincent

Chuck Vincent, born Charles Vincent Dingley on September 6, 1940, in Garden City, Michigan, was a multifaceted talent in the entertainment industry, excelling as a writer, director, producer, and editor. He initiated his career in regional theater, taking on roles as director and stage manager before relocating to the East Coast, where he collaborated with prestigious institutions like Yale Repertory Theatre and the Negro Ensemble Company. In New York City, he established Platinum Pictures, marking a significant step in his cinematic journey.

Vincent made his film debut in 1971 with the comedic short, *The Appointment*, and quickly became known for his production of provocative and humorous adult films throughout the 1970s and 1980s. His notable works in the adult film genre include titles such as *While the Cat's Away...* (1972), *Blue Summer* (1973), *Heavy Load* (1975), and *Bordello* (1985). He frequently collaborated with well-known adult stars like Veronica Hart, Samantha Fox, and Jamie Gillis.

Beyond adult cinema, Chuck ventured into low-budget R-rated films, creating comedies like *Summer Camp* (1978) and *Hollywood Hot Tubs* (1984), as well as the horror film *Deranged* (1987) and the erotic thriller *Bedroom Eyes II* (1989). Vincent also made brief appearances in some of his films.

His life was cut short at the age of 51 due to AIDS complications, passing away on September 23, 1991, in Key West, Florida.
