Boris Boo

Boris Boo embarked on his filmmaking journey with a co-directorial role in the 2009 film *Where Got Ghost?*, alongside renowned director Jack Neo. Before stepping into the director's chair, Boris honed his craft by writing and conceptualizing a range of sitcoms, short films, and variety shows for MediaCorp Studios and J Team. His writing prowess garnered recognition in 2007 when his screenplay for *Just Follow Law* earned a nomination for Best Original Screenplay at the prestigious 44th Golden Horse Awards.

Throughout his career, Boris has directed several notable feature films, including the Malay adaptation *Aku Tak Bodoh* (a remake of *I Not Stupid 2*), *Phua Chu Kang The Movie*, *Greedy Ghost*, and *Filial Party*. In 2017, he showcased his talent in comedy once again with the film *Lucky Boy*, further solidifying his reputation in the industry.

In addition to his directorial achievements, Boris serves as the creative director at Door to Door Pictures, where he continues to influence the landscape of Singaporean cinema. With a diverse portfolio and a commitment to storytelling, Boris Boo remains a significant figure in the film industry, contributing both as a writer and director.
