Franz Malmsten

Franz Malmsten Jr. (born September 7, 1999) is a talented actor hailing from Estonia. He completed his education at Vanalinna College of Education, graduating in 2019, before pursuing further studies in acting in London for a year. In 2020, he returned to Estonia to continue his training at Tallinn University’s Institute of Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication, where he is honing his craft in the dynamic fields of film and media.

Franz comes from a family deeply rooted in the performing arts; he is the son of esteemed actors Mait Malmsten and Harriet Toompere. He shares his artistic lineage with his brother, Hugo Malmsten Jr., and his cousin, the notable actor Hendrik Toompere Jr. This rich heritage has undoubtedly influenced Franz's career path and passion for acting.
