Diana Lin, also known as Xiaojie Lin, is a talented Chinese Australian actress celebrated for her diverse performances across film and television. She garnered significant recognition for her role in the 1994 television drama *Under the Skin*, earning a nomination for the prestigious AFI Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

Lin's artistic journey began in China, where she trained as a singer with the Chinese Beijing Opera Company at the age of 14. She then transitioned to acting at the Shanghai Theatre Academy, taking on various roles, including her work with the Pearl River Film Studio in Guangzhou. In the early 1990s, Lin relocated to Australia, settling in Sydney. Her debut feature role came in the fifth episode of the anthology series *Under the Skin* in 1993.
