Vikram Bhatt is a prominent figure in the Indian film industry, known for his multifaceted roles as a director, producer, and screenwriter. Born into a family with deep roots in cinema—his grandfather, Vijay Bhatt, was a trailblazer in Indian filmmaking, and his father, Pravin Bhatt, was a renowned cinematographer—Vikram's cinematic journey began at the tender age of 14. He first collaborated with director Mukul Anand on 'Kanoon Kya Karega' and continued as a chief assistant on the iconic film 'Agneepath.'

Following his early mentorship, Bhatt worked with esteemed directors such as Shekhar Kapur and Mahesh Bhatt, contributing to notable projects like 'Hum Hain Raahi Pyaar Ke' and 'Junoon.' He made his directorial debut with 'Jaanam,' but it wasn't until 'Fareb' that he achieved his first major success. This breakthrough paved the way for a series of hits, including 'Ghulam,' 'Kasoor,' 'Raaz,' and 'Awaara Pagal Deewana.'

After a brief lull in his career, Vikram made a significant comeback with the horror film '1920' in 2008, followed by 'Shaapit' in 2010, completing a successful horror trilogy. He also made history by introducing stereoscopic 3D filmmaking to India with 'Haunted - 3D,' which premiered in May 2011. Currently, he serves as the creative head of ASA Productions, continuing to shape the landscape of Indian cinema.
