Kemba Walker

Kemba Hudley Walker, born on May 8, 1990, is a former professional basketball player and current coach, widely recognized for his impactful career in the NBA. Selected ninth overall in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Bobcats, Walker quickly established himself as a cornerstone of the franchise, becoming its all-time leader in several key categories, such as points, minutes played, and three-point field goals made.

Throughout his career, Walker showcased his skills with several teams, including the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, and Dallas Mavericks, ultimately concluding his playing days with AS Monaco. His collegiate career at the University of Connecticut was remarkable; during the 2010-11 season, he was the nation’s second-leading scorer, earned the title of consensus first-team All-American, and played a pivotal role in leading the Huskies to an NCAA championship in 2011, where he was also honored as the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament.

In the NBA, Walker earned four All-Star selections and was named to an All-NBA Team once. His contributions to the sport have been recognized with two NBA Sportsmanship Awards and he is also a champion of the LNB Élite league.
