Joey Dedio, born on September 11, 1963, is a versatile American actor known for his contributions to film, television, and theatre, as well as his work as a producer and screenwriter. Dedio began his career at a young age, making his mark in the NBC soap opera "Another World" and in the television adaptation of "The Karate Kid." He lent his voice to the character Wheeler on the environmental series "Captain Planet and the Planeteers" and played a drug dealer in the anti-drug special "Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue," which was notably introduced by President George H. W. Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush.

His extensive voice acting repertoire includes roles in "Pound Puppies and the Legend of Big Paw," "Extreme Ghostbusters," and "Denver, the Last Dinosaur." Dedio later transitioned to live-action roles, appearing in "Sunset Beach" and guest-starring on acclaimed series like "Law & Order" and "Chicago Hope."
