Ed Polgardy
Ed Polgardy is a renowned figure in the entertainment industry, serving as the president of Black Hat Magic Productions. With a diverse portfolio that spans comic books, television, and film, he has made significant contributions as a writer, editor, producer, and director.
Polgardy gained recognition as the co-creator of the celebrated comic book series “From The Darkness” and its sequel “From The Darkness: Blood Vows.” He also penned the graphic novel adaptation of Quentin Tarantino's cult classic “From Dusk 'Til Dawn.” His role as Senior Editor at Jim Shooter's Defiant Comics saw him developing notable titles like “The Good Guys” and “Dark Dominion,” illustrated by the legendary Steve Ditko.
