Zora Kerova
Zora Ulla Keslerová, widely recognized by the name Zora Kerova, was born on August 11, 1950, in Prague, Czechoslovakia. She is a multifaceted talent, excelling as an actress, dancer, singer, and model. Kerova gained prominence in the 1980s, particularly noted for her roles in a series of Italian horror films that have since achieved cult status.
Her career commenced in the performing arts as a dancer and singer before transitioning into modeling. Kerova made her film debut in 1978 with the Italian production, *La febbre americana*. The following year, she showcased her range in the Czech drama *Křehké vztahy*, as well as in the Italian thriller *Terror Express*. Throughout the early 1980s, she established herself in the horror genre, appearing in iconic films such as *Antropophagus* (1980) and *Cannibal Ferox* (1981). One of her most notable performances came in Lucio Fulci's *The New York Ripper* (1982), which further solidified her status in the horror film landscape.
Kerova continued her collaboration with Fulci, featuring in *Touch of Death* and *Sodoma's Ghost*, both released in 1988. Her contributions to cinema, particularly in the horror genre, have left a lasting impact, ensuring her place in film history.
