Lucas Cruikshank, born on August 29, 1993, is a celebrated American comedic actor known for his work on YouTube. Hailing from Columbus, Nebraska, he gained fame by creating the character Fred Figglehorn, a quirky six-year-old with a challenging home life and notable "anger management issues."

Cruikshank launched the Fred character through his YouTube channel, "Fred," which he established in April 2008 after starting the JKL Productions channel with his cousins, Jon and Katie Smet. The Fred channel rapidly gained popularity, surpassing one million subscribers by April 2009, making it the first channel on YouTube to achieve this milestone and the most subscribed channel at that time.

In December 2009, Cruikshank took Fred to the big screen with the film "Fred: The Movie," which debuted on Nickelodeon in September 2010.
