Lucas Cruikshank, born on August 29, 1993, is a celebrated American comedic actor known for his work on YouTube. Hailing from Columbus, Nebraska, he gained fame by creating the character Fred Figglehorn, a quirky six-year-old with a challenging home life and notable "anger management issues."
Cruikshank launched the Fred character through his YouTube channel, "Fred," which he established in April 2008 after starting the JKL Productions channel with his cousins, Jon and Katie Smet. In December 2009, Cruikshank took Fred to the big screen with the film "Fred: The Movie," which debuted on Nickelodeon in September 2010. The success of the character led Nickelodeon to create an entire franchise around Fred, prompting the production of a sequel that began in March 2011. Lucas Cruikshank's innovative approach to comedy and his engaging character have left a lasting impact on digital entertainment and continue to resonate with audiences.
