Robert Clouse
Robert Clouse (March 6, 1928 – February 4, 1997) was an influential American film director and producer celebrated for his significant contributions to the action/adventure and martial arts film genres. He passed away on February 4, 1997, in Oregon due to kidney failure.
Clouse is perhaps best remembered for directing Bruce Lee in the iconic 1973 film "Enter the Dragon," which marked Lee's sole starring role in an English-language film. Following Lee's untimely death, Clouse took on the challenge of completing Lee's unfinished project, "Game of Death," which he released in 1978, incorporating a new narrative and cast.
His diverse body of work also includes notable films such as "Black Belt Jones," featuring Jim Kelly, "Darker than Amber," "China O'Brien," starring Cynthia Rothrock, and "The Big Brawl" with Jackie Chan.
