Sueyan Cox is an accomplished actress and television presenter who began her journey in the performing arts with a diploma in Theatre from Brisbane in 1984. Her theatrical debut occurred at the La Boîte Theatre in the production of Summer Time Blues, followed by a role in Loves Labour Lost with the Royal Queensland Theatre Company. Sueyan initially ventured into television behind the scenes as a producer's assistant at the ABC, contributing to programs like News and This Day Tonight in 1976.

In 1979, she transitioned in front of the camera, co-presenting the children's show Over Ann's Rainbow and the lifestyle program Your Home. Sueyan's film career took off in 1990 when she appeared in two Warner Roadshow productions, Bloodmoon and Deep Sleep, alongside notable actors Linda Blair and Tonny Bonner. During this time, she also lent her voice to various radio and television projects.

Relocating to Sydney in 1991, Sueyan landed the role of Barbara in the comedic play Run For Your Wife, followed by a performance in the beloved Australian production Dimboola. She later returned to the ABC for the lively panel show TVTV, stating, “It felt like coming home, after all those years.” Over the years, she has made guest appearances in series such as Water Rates, Marking Time, Between Two Worlds, and Back To the Rafters. However, she holds a special pride for her work in the independent short film Left Behind, directed by Ryan Cooper.
