Daniel Portman

Daniel Portman, born on February 13, 1992, in Glasgow, Scotland, is a talented actor celebrated for his compelling portrayal of Podrick Payne in the iconic HBO series *Game of Thrones*, which aired from 2012 to 2019. His performance in this acclaimed fantasy drama, spanning from the second season to the series finale, has solidified his place in the hearts of fans worldwide. Notably, he lent his voice to the poignant track "Jenny's Song" featured in the episode "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms."

Portman hails from a family with a strong artistic background; his father, Ron Donachie, is also an actor, and he has a sister named Naomi. Growing up in the Strathbungo area of Glasgow, he attended Shawlands Academy, where he excelled academically and athletically as the Head Boy and a rugby player. He later pursued a Higher National Certificate in Acting at Reid Kerr College in Paisley, marking the beginning of his professional journey.
