Edy Williams, born Edwina Beth Williams on July 9, 1942, is an accomplished American actress known for her dynamic presence in television and film. Williams started her professional journey in the spotlight as a model and beauty pageant participant, winning numerous local titles before being signed by 20th Century Fox. Throughout the 1960s, she showcased her talent in various television series and films, with notable appearances in iconic shows such as *The Beverly Hillbillies*, *The Twilight Zone*, and *Batman*, as well as films like *The Naked Kiss* and the 1967 Sonny & Cher feature, *Good Times*.

Her career took a significant turn in 1970 when she starred as Ashley St. Ives in Russ Meyer's cult classic *Beyond the Valley of the Dolls*, a role that led to her marriage to Meyer shortly after the film's release. In 1973, Edy gained further attention with a colorful photo spread in *Playboy*, captured by her then-husband. Following their divorce in 1977, she continued to act, often in films that featured nudity, and made a memorable appearance on *The People's Court* in 1982 as a litigant.
