Ely Galleani
Ely Galleani, born Federica Elisabetta De Galleani in Alassio, Italy, hails from a distinguished background as the daughter of an Italian count and a Polish mother of Lithuanian descent. She embarked on her cinematic journey in 1970 with a minor part in Duccio Tessari's film "Quella piccola differenza." Galleani's talent soon garnered her more substantial roles in various films throughout the 1970s, establishing her as a recognizable figure in Italian cinema.
After a successful acting career, she chose to retire from the film industry in 1978, redirecting her focus towards a new profession as an accountant. In her personal life, Galleani faced tragedy with the loss of her half-sister, actress Halina Zalewska, who tragically perished in a fire in 1976 at the age of 36. Additionally, Ely was previously married to renowned Italian director Carlo Vanzina, which further connects her to the cinematic world.
