Erika Anderson, born in 1963, is a versatile American actress recognized for her contributions to both film and television. Hailing from Tulsa, Oklahoma, she is the daughter of a sculptor and pursued her education at Hale High School followed by the University of Tulsa, where she majored in Telecommunications with a minor in Theater. During her college years, she took on the role of a disc jockey at Tulsa's only jazz station and hosted her own arts program, laying the groundwork for her future in the entertainment industry.

After relocating to Los Angeles post-graduation, Anderson transitioned into modeling, gaining experience in major fashion capitals such as New York, Paris, and Milan. Her film career took off with her performance in the 1988 movie *Lifted*, but she gained widespread recognition for her role as Greta Gibson in the 1989 horror classic *A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child*.
