**Darya Charusha Biography**

Born on August 25, 1980, in Norilsk, Soviet Union, Darya Charusha, affectionately known as Dasha, developed an early fascination with music and theater. At just 18, she embarked on her artistic journey by enrolling at the prestigious Moscow Conservatory, where she honed her skills as a composer. Alongside her musical pursuits, Darya embraced her love for acting and graduated from the Moscow Art School GITIS as a dramatic actress in June 2010.

Darya’s talents quickly gained recognition as she appeared in several Russian films and television series while simultaneously composing scores for cinema and working on her music album. A significant milestone in her career came in October 2010 with her collaboration with Andrey Karasev on the soundtrack for the film *Silent Souls*. This project premiered at the Venice Film Festival and garnered widespread acclaim.

In 2014, she expanded her horizons by producing the film *Cold Front*, where she not only played a leading role but also composed the film’s score. The movie was filmed in Normandy in December of the same year. Darya achieved international recognition with the release of *Hardcore*, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in September 2015. Directed by Ilya Naishuller, this groundbreaking action film featured Darya in an acting role and showcased her musical talents, solidifying her status as a multifaceted artist on the global stage.
