Greg Sestero
Greg Sestero, born and raised in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area, boasts a multicultural background, speaking both French and English due to his European heritage. He holds dual citizenship in France and the United States and traveled extensively during his youth.
At the age of 17, Sestero began his professional journey by signing with a well-known talent agency in San Francisco. Shortly after, he ventured to Milan and Paris, working with esteemed designers such as Giorgio Armani and Gian Franco Ferre. Returning to the United States with a renewed focus on acting, he enrolled at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. His television debut came at just 18, with a role in the CBS series Nash Bridges (1996), followed by a part in the Golden Globe-nominated film Patch Adams (1998), featuring the beloved Robin Williams. His growing talent soon attracted the attention of Hollywood agent Iris Burton, leading to his relocation to Los Angeles.
Sestero is perhaps best known for his role in the cult classic The Room (2003), which has been dubbed the "best worst movie ever made." In 2013, he authored The Disaster Artist, detailing his experiences during the film's production and his collaboration with the enigmatic Tommy Wiseau. The book garnered critical acclaim and became a bestseller, later being adapted into a feature film directed by James Franco and produced by Seth Rogen in February 2014.
