Russell Floyd
Russell Floyd, born on May 29, 1962, in Croydon, London, is a distinguished British actor known for his versatile performances across television and film. A graduate of the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), Floyd first gained recognition in the popular series "London's Burning," where he portrayed Rick, the swimming instructor for firefighter Sally Reid, appearing in three episodes.
Floyd's career in television continued to flourish with his role as Michael Rose, the Bridge Street Market Inspector, in the BBC's beloved soap opera "EastEnders," a position he held from 1996 to 1999. He further showcased his acting prowess as DC Ken Drummond in the ITV police drama "The Bill" from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, he took on the role of a detective in the Sky One football drama "Dream Team," and later appeared in the BBC medical series "Doctors" in both 2006 and 2010, portraying different characters in each instance.
