Mehdi El Glaoui, born Mehdi El Mezouari El Glaoui on May 26, 1956, is a retired French actor, director, and screenwriter. He is the son of renowned actress Cécile Aubry and Si Brahim El Glaoui, the local caïd of Telouet, making him the grandson of Thami El Glaoui, the former pasha of Marrakech.

El Glaoui began his acting career at the tender age of 5 in the television series Poly, a project produced by his mother. He portrayed his character over several sequels, spanning nine seasons, until he turned 14. Notably, he also starred in the series Belle et Sébastien, which gained popularity in the UK as a holiday favorite thanks to its English dubbing.
