Harold P. Pruett (April 13, 1969 – February 21, 2002) was a notable American actor renowned for his work in film and television from the 1970s through the 1990s. Over the course of his career, he featured in more than 30 productions, showcasing his versatility across various genres.

During the late 70s and 80s, Pruett made guest appearances on numerous beloved television series, including iconic shows such as *Wonder Woman*, *The New Leave It to Beaver*, *It's Your Move*, *Eye to Eye*, *The Best Times*, *Hotel*, and *Night Court*. His talent extended beyond acting; in the late 1980s and early 1990s, he also showcased his dancing skills in several music videos, notably collaborating with pop artist Martika on her hits "More Than You Know" (1989) and "Coloured Kisses" (1992).

In 1990, Pruett earned his first co-starring role in the NBC musical teen drama *Hull High*, although the show was canceled after just nine episodes due to low ratings. Shortly thereafter, he portrayed Steve Randle in the television adaptation of S.E. Hinton's novel *The Outsiders*, which also faced a brief run. His talent shone through in a recurring role as Brad Penny on the teen sitcom *Parker Lewis Can't Lose* from 1992 to 1993. His final television work came with a recurring role in the popular series *Party of Five* in 1996. Pruett's last film role was in the independent drama *The Right Way* (1998), marking the end of a promising career cut short.
