Lucie Szechter is an accomplished filmmaker and artist, renowned for her innovative approach to research-creation in film studies, where she earned her PhD in Arts. Her artistic endeavors delve into the complexities of human relationships, exploring diverse frameworks, including cinematic, sociological, and philosophical perspectives. In 2014, Szechter's film garnered the prestigious Courts d'ici Prize in Nice, marking a significant milestone in her career.
