Yoji Matsuda (松田 洋治, Matsuda Yōji), born on October 19, 1967, in Setagaya, Tokyo, is a distinguished Japanese actor and voice actor. He comes from a family of talent, with his older brother, Naoyuki Matsuda, being a musical translator and academic at Komazawa University.

Matsuda's acting journey began at a young age when he joined the Himawari Theatre Group at just five years old. He made his television debut in 1974 with the drama "Mother's Suzu." His breakthrough role came in 1983 when he starred as Shigeyuki Numata in the TBS drama "Family Game," which garnered significant attention. His voice acting career took off with his role as Ashitaka in Hayao Miyazaki's acclaimed film "Princess Mononoke" in 1997. Additionally, he lent his voice to Jack Dawson, portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio, in the Japanese version of "Titanic," further elevating his profile.

Throughout his career, Matsuda has also made notable appearances in films such as "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind" (1984) and "Shuna's Journey" (1987).
