Dallas Campbell
Dallas Campbell is a prominent British television presenter, celebrated for his engaging storytelling and diverse portfolio. He has made significant contributions to popular science programming, with notable appearances in BBC One's Supersized Earth, Bang Goes the Theory (which aired on BBC America in 2013), and Egypt's Lost Cities. Additionally, he has hosted BBC Four's Horizon Guides and the thought-provoking special The Drake Equation: The Search for Life.
Before establishing himself at the BBC, Campbell showcased his charisma on Channel Five's technology-focused series, The Gadget Show. He also created and co-produced Dallas Campbell's Guide to the Impossible, known as Dallas in Wonderland, a comedic science series that aired on Discovery Science in the U.S.
Earlier in his career, Dallas ventured into acting, featuring in some of the UK's most beloved dramas such as Casualty, Doomwatch, A Touch of Frost, and Moll Flanders. His theatrical endeavors included significant collaborations with the renowned director Ken Campbell, particularly in the production of The Warp, famously recognized as the world's longest play with a staggering runtime of 29 hours.
In addition to his television and acting pursuits, Campbell wrote and directed the short film No Deposit No Return. He shares his life with his wife, Victoria Goodall, who is the sister of actress Caroline Goodall.
