Devrim Yakut is a prominent Turkish actress and acting coach, known for her contributions to theatre, television, and film. Born on May 27, 1968, in Ankara, she graduated from the Theatre Department of Ankara University’s Faculty of Language, History, and Geography in 1992. Her theatrical journey began with a focus on theatre theory at the same institution, followed by specialized training in acting.

In 1994, Yakut joined the Adana State Theatre, where she remained until 2003, contributing significantly to the creation of the Adana Theatre Atelier, where she served as both an actress and an instructor, as well as a producer. In 2003, she transitioned to the Ankara State Theatre, where she continued her artistic endeavors. By 2005, she was lecturing on the Fundamentals of Acting at her alma mater, Ankara University. She took on leadership roles as Assistant Principal and later Principal of the Ankara State Theatre from 2007 to 2008.

During the 2006-2007 theatre season, she performed in "Kocasini Pisiren Kadin" with Asya Production Theatre. Currently, she also teaches in the Post-Graduate programme at Bahcesehir University in Istanbul.

Yakut's talent has been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Best Actress in Musical or Comedy at the Sadri Alisik Theatre Awards in 2007, the Promising Actress Award from the Ankara Art Foundation for her performance in "5th Frank," and the Best Actress Award at the VIII Lions Awards for "Tek Kisilik Sehir," where she also received the Best Actress of the Year Award from the Ankara Art Foundation.
