There, she juggled a secretarial job at a university while pursuing acting classes at the Macunaíma Theater School. Her modeling career took off following successful photography and runway tests, leading her to work with various agencies.
Tragedy struck during the holiday season when a serious car accident resulted in significant facial injuries requiring 400 stitches. This incident prompted her to step back from modeling, but after her recovery, she redirected her focus towards theater, studying at the Antunes Filho Theater Research Center and joining the renowned group Parlapatões. Today, Bárbara identifies as non-binary and continues to leave her mark on the Brazilian arts scene. Her journey is a testament to her strength and unwavering passion for performance.
