James Aston Lake

James Aston Lake, originally from Birmingham, England, relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2002, where he honed his craft with the Second City Improv Troupe, studied Theatre under Gerald Gordon, and developed his voice-over skills with Alice Whitfield. This foundational training played a crucial role in shaping his artistic journey.

In 2013, James made the bold move to Los Angeles to fully commit to his acting career, focusing specifically on film. He trained for two years with acclaimed coach Ryan R. Williams, recognized by Backstage Magazine as the best "On-Camera Film Acting Coach" in 2014. This partnership led to James being cast in numerous projects, including the upcoming television series "Sketchy."

Throughout his time in Los Angeles, James has shared the screen with notable talents such as Kevin Hart in "Real Husbands of Hollywood" and appeared as a guest star in pilots like "Palasades Justice" and "Shadow." He has also worked on various feature films, including "Red Man," "Holding Lucid," and "Where the Devil Dwells," and performed stunts in key roles for the upcoming films "Enigma" and "Drone Wars."

In 2014, he directed and produced the comedy web series "The Aaron and Brian Show," handling all aspects of post-production including editing and visual effects. Additionally, he was part of the cast in the 2018 horror-thriller "Velvet Buzzsaw," directed by Dan Gilroy and featuring Jake Gyllenhaal. Beyond acting, James has ventured into sound editing and hosts an EDM podcast, "D4rk Valhalla," on SoundCloud. He believes, "Movies make people feel less alone, and I want to be a part of that."
