Mark Kempner

Mark Kempner was born in Horne, Surrey, to Bernard Kempner, a farmer and hobbyist performer, and Mary Kempner, a former land-girl. He attended Michael Hall school, where he particularly thrived in his drama classes. After completing his education, Mark dedicated time to working on the family farm until he met his future wife, Anna, at the age of 18. The couple tied the knot in 1982 and are proud parents to two children who have also pursued careers in acting.

Shortly after finishing school, Mark spent a year working on a Kibbutz in Israel. During this period, he founded a touring comedy drama troupe, which performed various comedy sketches at different Kibbutzim. This experience not only enriched his creative skills but also allowed him to blend his passion for drama with travel and cultural exchange.
