Agata Trzebuchowska, born in 1992, is a talented Polish actress who gained international acclaim for her debut performance in the critically acclaimed film *Ida* (2013). Directed by Paweł Pawlikowski, *Ida* tells the poignant story of a young nun discovering her family's hidden past during the Holocaust. Trzebuchowska's portrayal of the title character earned her numerous nominations at various film festivals and industry awards, marking a significant milestone in her career.
Before landing the role of Ida, Trzebuchowska was relatively unknown and had no formal acting background. Her journey into the film industry began unexpectedly when she was noticed by a friend of Pawlikowski while reading in a café in Warsaw.
